Here's something I've always wanted to try.

For the people who cannot make it to the show, I've set up a special page. The page highlight is a webcam image that will update every 10 seconds. The webcam will be moved to various places during the course of the weekend, but the bulk of the time it will be behind the DP booth, the best vantage point of the show.

The page also includes complete keynote speeches that you can download and listen to (MP3 format), a brand new exclusive interview with Don Bluth, a scavenger hunt contest that you can play from home, links to the museum and the musical guests' music, and we'll even have a game released to the public in ROM format for the very first time anywhere!

All of the above will be ready by "showtime" on Saturday, but you can check it out at any time. Bookmark the page and check in on the show all weekend long!

Enjoy.

Excellent! CGE: The Home Game!

I remember all the times these boards would just die around Expo time and I was stuck at home, so hopefully this'll make the crowd at home feel more like part of it.

I wonder how drunk Kristine has to get before I can "convince" her to flash the camera..

Thanks for putting my lengthy interview with Don Bluth (http://www.digitpress.com/archives/arc00154.htm) up on the page! Check it out, everybody... We go into a great amount of detail about Dragon's Lair arcade & the 3D console game, as well as some fascinating reflections on his experiences in the animation industry.

Mr. Bluth was a really friendly guy. He took over an hour out of his schedule to chat with me and really opened up with some behind-the-scenes details!

Can't wait to hang out at Classic Game Expo once again this year... Won't be long now!

I thought I saw Chewbacca!

Nope, that was just portnoyd. It's easier to tell them apart in person - portnoyd is taller than Chewbacca.
