OK gamers, time to get gamin'.

So you couldn't make it to CGE. If you missed the headline announcement in the main forum, perhaps you missed that we're bringing as much of CGE to YOU as possible, including a web-cam broadcast that will deliver live images from the show every 10 seconds.

If you missed it, here's the page: http://www.digitpress.com/cge

Now here's where the gamin' comes in.

I'm going to list 20 things that our web cam is likely to catch over the course of the weekend. All you have to do is find them in the pictures, save the picture, and send them in when you've got them. The first person to find them all - or has the most when the contest ends - wins! Most browsers capture the picture best by right-clicking on it, and selecting "save picture as"... when you're ready, put them all in one email and send them to digitalpress@email.com.

The contest ends when CGE ends: 4pm on Sunday.

If you win, you will truly be able to say that this was as close to "being there" as actually being there! The grand prize package includes ALL THREE Atari 2600 new releases (Rush Hour, Looping, and Entity), as well as a box full of goodies from the Expo, donated by our exhibitors.

So. Without further ado, here's the list of things you need to find on the CGE CAM.

- someone wearing an Atari shirt
- two Retrogaming Roundtable forum members in the same picture
- the DP Collector's Guide
- any one of the show's speakers/alumni
- Atari 2600 "Combat" cartridge
- a Vectrex game or system
- any alien life form
- a dollar (or any other denomination) bill
- a product offered by one of the CGE sponsors
- a t-shirt with a PlayStation character depicted
- a cute girl, real, animated or drawn
- the Intellivision "running man"
- Pac-Man
- a Commodore 64 product
- a Game Boy (any model)
- the word "Sega"
- the word "Nintendo"
- a belly button
- a baseball cap with a video game theme
- a musical instrument

Good luck!

Can I bring a polaroid camera to the show, take pics of all those things and hand the pics to you in person?

...or is that cheating?

WOW what a show.

Just got home, going to bed, but my inbox is cleared out now. Mother of GOD there's a lot of e-mail here.

If you haven't submitted and/or got bounced, send it in now! Even if you only have a few CGE CAM pics you could toppled another player. Besides, I'd like to see all of the pics that everyone captured. People at the show were having a great time with the webcam cast.

Many many many many more details and hundreds of pictures to follow. I'll have lots to share with you tomorrow after a good (first in about a week) night's sleep!

Game ON.

Is a zipped file fine for this? I sent one since I could only send five files per email. That shoud keep the file size down. *sees the new Atari stuff* Yum

ZIP files are fine, in fact, preferred! I've got some great pictures sent in so far, keep 'em coming! :)

The link is right on the main index page, have at it! There's some great stuff in there, I can't wait for mine to come back Friday (or Saturday), and then the FULL story of the Legend of Sunday Night can be told!

We have a winner!

ClubNinja submitted an initial burst of 17 (of the 20) scavenger hunt items about 30 minutes after the CGE CAM was turned off last Sunday. After reviewing the rest of the contest entrants (about 25 in all), his submission is the most complete. The hardest part of judging this one was matching up the items to the pictures we were sent!

There are some of the entries online right now, in fact, at http://www.digitpress.com/images/cge2k3/cge_cam/index.htm - with many more to be added soon. Thanks to everyone who played, we hope you had some fun with it!

Congrats, ClubNinja! Please e-mail me your shipping address and we'll get your CGE package out to you.
