Hey all. First time posting. Figured for my first Post i would share what just happened to me a week ago.
I found a local kijiji ad selling 10 NES games. Nothing special Mario/Duck Hunt , TMNT 1 , Excitebike, you get the picture. Only reason i am buying it cause they had a copy of King's Knight which i dont have a good label copy. 10 bucks for all ten games, cant beat that deal.
She said she is cleaning out the basement and getting rid of everything down there and doesnt want them.
So i go that night and pick up the box. When i get there she shows me the box and she has Kings Knight on top so i can see the label is in fact in good shape like she said. She then tells me she found another game while sorting and she put it in the box as a bonus no charge. I could care less what it is cause i figured based on all the other games its going to be just another common worthless game to go in the pile. So i pay her 10 bucks and go on my merry way.
So 2 days go by and i decided now would be a good time to take the games out of the box she packed them in and put the game i wanted on the shelf and the others in the pile of doubles and triples. So i pull them all out and finally see the extra game she put in that i could care less about.
It was Moon Ranger
I was floored. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I have never scored that real sweet deal where i found a hidden gem at a garage sale or goodwill. So i was very very happy.
I know its not a NWC or anything but was nice that it finally happened to score a nice deal.
So what do you think ? Did i score a deal ?
