I found a bag of small LCD games but have no idea what system they fit in. Can anyone identify these?

guessing a cheap chinese knockoff that's not worth your time tracking down, by the generic names and art.

The only real console I can think of where you insert screens is the tiger r-zone.

Welcome to the forums! Please take a moment to introduce yourself (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?5-Introduce-Yourself!).

Those are a type of mini LCD game from the early 90's. Essentially they snap into a base that contained the battery and control buttons. Not worth much at all, they were sold in a blister pack (the base and two or more "games") and were intended to look like a good value "2 games in 1" type thing. I remember Toys R Us selling them along with other LCD games of the era.

David, the ones you saw at TRU (or more likely, KB Toys) were probably the MGA ones; these are NOT those as far as I can tell, though obviously they -- and the MGA ones -- are exactly as you describe.

You are correct about the MGA ones but I remember these as well, with the long tab on the back. I can't for the life of me remember specifically where I saw this type though. Kmart perhaps?

Reminds of the pop station. I've seen these when Ashens reviews them.

I don't know if they're from a pop station. Those inserts were almost always (if not always) more rectangular and not this weird shape.

you're right, the photos confirm that they're not from the Pop Station, but they should be from those handheld games that one would normally find in the dollar plus section of a flea market that have a goofy shape, that has some packaging which has graphics and artwork from other games (i.e. any game with Street Overlord would usually have characters from the King of Fighters franchise).

I know they're not from a pop station, I said they remind me of them.

Ok I am of no help as I could not find the unit(I own too much stuff)

I found one of the games that I store with my GB games..

....at one time I was obsessed with any cart, plug in type handheld/table top game..

What I remember is the game was a China made handheld ,that came in a hanging package..I think I bought it from a store called Odd Job..

If I ever find it I’ll post a picture..

It’s similar to this one I have:
