I saw the posts in the the March finds thread about the Super Joy bootlet systems, and became interested in knowing more about these things. I read through the two threads that were linked from another sites and learned some pretty nifty things. I had thought there was another thread about them somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

I was wondering if there was a more organized list of these systems and carts, and information about which ones have famiclone pins that can work in a real console.

I ended up buying one from a thrift store today for $5. The cart included in it says 9999999in1 on it lol. It is the Mega Book III system.

Thanks for any info.

Um, if you want bootleg consoles of older consoles, just do emulators instead of the retrons, or buy the real ones at second hand stores. If youre looking for bootlegs of new consoles, dont waste your money on them at all. Just wait for black friday and I bet the ps3 will be $150 or maybe $200.

Looking for the weird ones for the old stuff. Not because I want to play old games I have just about every old system I could ever want and just about any game I would want to play on them. I am just interested in these systems, and would like more information.

Also I'm not talking about the systems like Retro Duo, Messiah, or any of those that simply mimic the console. I'm talking more about the weird plug and play bootlegs with the large amount of crappy and modified games on them. These usually come in the form of controllers, but some do have console looking boxes that everything plugs into.
