Yoshis island and Donkey Kong Country snes problems.

My buddy got these 2 games. Yoshis island doesn't turn on and the Donkey Kong Country cart resets Everytime I try to start a level.

Any ideas why this is happening?

Dirty contacts or bad connector or faulty ppu have you tired the games in a known working console.

i tried them on his snes both had problems. i thought it was the system but i tried 3 other games killer instincts, super mario and final fight. all 3 worked fine. this was done in earlier march.

the resetting problem could be cause though bad cic chips can cause fault's
or bit rot that happens.
