question about retro game challenge for DS

just a quick one. got this game today in the mail. bought it from amazon though a market place dealer but the order was fulfilled by amazon. I got the game today and popped it open after taking the plastic off, plugging it into the system and turned it on and it start up with the menu selector on continue i thought it was odd so i checked it out and there are 2 games unlocked.

so i start a new one, it wipes the save and start from scratch and it starts off with only one game unlocked, cosmic something or rather.

does this sound like it was a used game or do these come like this as if it was a Q.A. thing?

the reason i ask is because it was advertised as new and paid a new game price for it but it seems it is not and it kinds pisses me off because i spent $10+ extra bucks to get this one new

Seems like it was a used copy, resealed and sold as new. The only game that's unlocked when you start is the Cosmic Gate one and if you never started the game shouldn't have the option to continue.

Wow, the price has gone up for new copies. I remember seeing new copies for around $10, I still have a sealed copy. I picked it up to play but never got around to it, thinking of just getting a used one cheap and keeping this sealed.

...if only more people had played them and spread the good word, so the localizing team could have made enough money to release the second one with translations. I've got my copies of both and they aren't sealed.

Not blaming you, gameguy, though, but hurry up and find a copy to play!

I picked this up when it was released and I must say it was fantastic. This is the only game of its kind to do what it did with the whole retro collection vibe. A must own for any fan of classic gaming.
