I hate first person shooters and fighting games.

All other genres are good, though my favorites would be puzzle games and adventure/role-playing games.

I love first person shooters and fighting games. I also love flight combat sims. :D I hate RPG's and dumb games like Animal Crossing

I love "survival horror" games, though it's a genre "created" by Capcom. But horror games have been around before RE appeared (Alone in the dark anyone?) and the genre has exploded. (Silent Hill, Evil Dead, Galierians, Parasite Eve, Eternal Whatzis.)

I hate first-person shooters. Well, I *like* them actually, but I'm one of those motion-sickness prone folks that gets ill after a hour of play. Once had Dark Forces for the PSX and was determnined to play it through. Finally won at it, but....

Yep. I found that surviving is based upon owning a self-firing joystick, not aiming ability.

@troy, sure r-type is easy if you use self firing joysticks, unlimited credtis, etc, because techinally that's a cheat and not what the game designers intended. Try finishing the game with out rapid fire and on one credit like in the arcade. That's the way you're supposed to play it.

To use an analogy you might understand, it's like playing an RPG with a complete walkthrough telling you where all the hidden items are and how to beat every boss. It's a cheat and it takes away all the challenge. See?
