Preferably, 160GB+, but I'm also not looking to break the bank.

I recently built a new computer, and by "built" I mean "Frankensteined" and by "new computer" I mean "new core components combined with peripherals I've acquired in the past year." One thing I couldn't find a good deal on a SATA hard drive, so I'm currently using my IDE hard drive from my old computer and a bi-directional IDE/SATA converter. It works well enough, but I definitely need to upgrade at some point and the prices are, to my mind, outrageous.

Maybe I'm just being unrealistic, but I thought by now even a 160GB internal hard drive would be less than $35 on places like Newegg and TigerDirect, but I'm lucky if I can find -any- hard drive, even IDE types, for lower than $50.

So, er, offer away, I suppose?

I think I have a couple from old machines lying around - let me check the sizes and I'll get back to you.

I'd be mighty appreciative. I still have about 30GB free on my old 80GB IDE, but I plan on playing some modern games now that I have a modern PC.
