has anyone here bought games/systems from this site (collectorscardsandgames.com)....i've bought several snes titles, a 3do and even a sega cdx about 6 years ago.....and i still purchase items from them now....they seem to have some of the best retail prices i've seen when compared to amazon, ebay, tradengames, estarland, etc...

i'm tempted to pick up chrono trigger from them...they're selling it for $60....everywhere else i've seen....even on craigslist seems to be in the $70-$95 range for that game.

my only complaint about them is they are not real prompt with processing orders....i think its only a few guys running that business and they seem to stay really busy....but they have a heck of an inventory

anyway, just curiuos if anyone else has had any other experiences with them...positive or negative

I've been on there, yeah. Seems like a nice guy, I've given them a call.
Just wish they had a website which updated in real-time, because they way it is now, you don't actually know what they realistically have in stock. It's just a large database type of graph.

The prices are fair, I'll give them that.

I talked about this seller long ago on the forums but it's been so long so I'll post here again.

Not only was I a repeat customer with this store in the past but since he relocated to my area I met the owner personally. He's a cool dude. But what matters is that he's a good seller too. I never had problems communicating with him or making orders, paying, and receiving items. In the few years I kept in touch with him, only once was there any sort of issue. One box I ordered was missing 1 item and he simply sent it to me with my next order and deducted the shipping for that item.

By the way this is one guy, that is why it may appear to be slow when you order or try to ask questions over email. This is not a proper store front with a staff and when I did talk to him he'd usually reply in 1-3 days. The prices and items on his website are always outdated because it's an impossible task for him to keep it up to date. His prices are pretty good but sadly he absolutely does NOT deal with Japanese versions of anything, so sadly these days I only buy hardware accessories instead of games since hardware is usually identical (A/V cables stuff like that, one of which I just bought last week actually haha.)

His site isn't always up to date, and he may have to double check what he has when you ask, but always did me right. He moved from NJ to FL recently, and shipping isn't as cheap to me anymore! Great place to find spare manuals from.

Thanks for the info I'm actually a 45 minute drive to their shop. I'm definitely going to visit them this weekend. ^_^

Woah, hold your horses! There's no shop, he does mail order out of his house. I think he had a store in NJ several years ago.

Right, don't drive up there. His business address is just a warehouse, there's no store or anything open to the public to see. I still remember what he told me when I met him. "I try to have one of everything." So the website may or may not be a guideline for either availability or prices, but always, always email and ask about whatever you're looking to buy. :)

i actually just recieved 3 of the 4 snes games recently from him that i ordered a few weeks ago....all in great shape....the one game that was missing wasn't a big deal.....i talked to him and he's been extremely busy lately filling orders....sounds like he's really doing the best he can given how busy his business has been here lately.....

i actually just placed a small order tonight....i swear his prices are so much better than any other retail store i've seen in person or online
