I'm in the process of re-capping my model 1 Genesis so I ordered the VA3 cap kit from Console 5. I noticed that some of the capacitors have different ratings in the kit than what's on the board. For example, there are no 10v/100uf caps in the kit, only 16v/100uf ones. So my questions is....does the voltage rating matter much or is the microfarad rating the more important one? Please advise....thanks.

10v caps are hard to find, the only advantage is that they can be more compact. As long as the capacity is correct and the maximum operating voltage is higher than the circuit needs it is fine.
Edit: I recently did an X'eye, I needed several 10v and 16v caps of the same capacity but my supplier didn't have either, I replaced them all with the 25v version.
