I actually saw (gasp) a POSITIVE report about video games on CBS! Sure, they dredged up the same old, lame old arguments about video game violence, but they were willing to acknowledge the fact that there's a mature audience for video games, and that they have the potential to affect players the way a movie affects its viewers.
Finally, it's starting to sink in. Even the news media is finally starting to understand that video games are a legitimate art form.

I feel it's about time heck video games are makeing more money then movies, so I am hopeing they open thier eyes already, though I see as our generation gets older we will start to see more respect for video games as a art form, as it should be too :D .

They aren't getting anything. The next time there's a school shooting, they'll be back to their old ways. It's all about what story happens to be hot at the moment.

Speaking of General Whatshispants, whatever happened to that asshole? Sales of his exploitative book not what he expected? And am I the only one who thinks he looked and spoke exactly like the crazy, bitter old sergeant from Stripes?
