While Capcom gave its blessing (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/07/13/third-times-the-charm-live-action-street-fighter-assassins-f/) to Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist, it would seem the series needs financing before it can be completed. A Kickstarter campaign for the live-action series has launched and is seeking £625,000 (around $950,000), for a planned debut this coming winter.
The Kickstarter campaign is of note because these guys produced quite arguably the best three minutes of live-action Street Fighter footage on the planet with their fan-film, Street Fighter: Legacy (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/07/street-fighter-legacy-is-the-best-three-minutes-of-street-fighte/).
