Awesome find!

I buy games to play and not collect so I would have done the same thing as you and put it up for sale.

That is a great game as well as being rare. I would at least play it before you sell it.

Nice find. I have had a few of those kind of finds when I found a boxed snes Ogre Battle and Brigandine plus a stack of other Ps1 jrpgs for 3 bucks a pop at a local thrift store. I love that high you get when you stumble across some gold. The only MUSHA I have seen locally is for a crap condition loose cart someone has been trying to sell for way more than its work even at crazy collector prices.

Damn. Sweet luck there. Musha is truly a kickass 16-bit shooter. Personally, I'd keep it, play it, and savor the find for years and years to come.

Yeah! I'd give you at least $35 for it right now. But if I were you I'd tell me to piss off and keep it. There's no way I'd sell Musha.

Why not sell it? So mnay of you here pirate games and even tell others to pirate games on here. He can get like $100 plus bucks and he can play it for free on a emulator.

Let some foolish collector pay it's market value so they can play the game once or twice and let it sit on their shelf collecting dust while they brag about it.

In the mean time TC can play it on a emulator and pocket profit.

It's not worth the risk holding it when the value can depreciate. Look at all the Atlus games getting reprinted and then the vale drops.

Well, I guess that's enitrely up to him. I for one have never supported emulators. As a matter of fact, I hate them and I always play games on the original hardware. Also, I don't see a ton of people suggesting emulators on here either. That being said, he's not going to get $100 plus for Musha. I've seen it around for $50 in the same condition, even less. I consider myself a collector. However, I don't buy games to let them sit and brag about them. I buy them to play them. If I found that game for four bucks, you're damn right I would buy it, and I would never sell it. I don't buy games giving a crap what they're worth. I don't plan to sell them. So there's no risk. I feel sorry for any moron that collects games as an investment.

Well there was a few that just sold this month on ebay for 250 in lesser condition give or take so i put starting bid at 200. I dont really buy to collect just to play but this is was cheap enough and i seen something about it from a collector the other day. If it sells ill make some money if not i will use it for trading for stuff i want i dont have. There are carts only going for over 100 on there so will see what happens. I figured id catch more flack from trying to make money in it vs keeping it lol

How long ago did you see that copy? A complete copy recently sold for over $300 at open auction. Most copies sell between $200-$300 complete. I wouldn't pay that much for a copy but I can see him getting that much when selling it.

Personally if I found a complete copy for under $5 I would get it and keep it for myself, I have a loose copy with a beat up label but I would want a complete copy in excellent shape. Of course plenty of stuff I've found I just sold off as I wasn't interested in it so I can't blame anyone for just selling it. I'm still a bit jealous though.

Well, at least you're honest. I'll assume this is your listing since the pictures seem to match?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/271193726513

It's kind of sad you didn't try to sell it here first. If you sell it on ebay at $200 you're going to loose around 20% right off the bat with fees. It sounded like you had other people that were already interested in buying it off you too, even I would have been interested.

I would have bought if it was cheaper. I'm not for paying eBay prices outside of eBay.

Best of luck n20.

Seems the guy just saw Gameguy's post about it going for $200-300 and hopped on it. Even if he sells it for the $298 he's asking, he'll only make around $240 off of it if the fees really do take away 20 percent.

Yeah thats the ebay add. I looked at previously sold and dates and what on there now i think its fair for a ebay price because all of the complete copies in lesser condition sold for around 250ish some for 300

Man, OP is a lucky person.

For me MUSHA is one of those "I wish I had never sold my copy" games that I would almost kill to find for a good price. Too bad I probably can't afford whatever price the OP wants (and I kinda am already obligated to buy other people's things).

You do understand that ebay takes a percentage of the final sale value right? I see that your account only has like 2 feedback so you might be a bit new to this, but when you complete a sale on ebay they take a percentage of it to cover their costs and make a profit. In general, after fees you loose about 20% of your final sale price profit to ebay and paypal.

So say you sell it for $200. 20% of $200 is $40, and $200 - $40 means you'll actually only make about $160. Still not a bad profit on $4, but you'd obviously be able to come home with more than that in your pocket if you sold it on the forums.

Yeah i understand the fees but like i said i only collect what i play. I would sell it on the forum but ebay atleast im protected. Might have it sold locally on craigslist so that will be nice put 250 on there. besides yeah the 200 will go fast but when you got 2 kids and not a lot of money that 200 is nice to have to do other things.

As others have said, that's a fantastic find, man. I have a soft spot for M.U.S.H.A. even though I've never spent that much time with it. I'm honestly not sure why I haven't. My copy was purchased for 20 bucks or so some years ago before it was an extremely sought after. I entertain the thought of selling my copy almost ever December when the price spikes, but I never do.

Good score for you. It's like I said some foolish collector is going to brag about owning it more then he's going to play it as it sits on their shelf collecting dust.

$300 bucks can do a lot with two kids specially if you already had money problems. That is a car payment or half of rent or a mortgage. You can still play the game on a emulator.

I don't even need the money but I would have done the same thing. It's so much profit on so little overhead. I would find other things to spend it on.

I can understand it if you didn't care about playing the game. However, now think of what it would cost for you to get that game again. It could only go up in cost and you might not ever get it again. To me it's kind of sad. I wouldn't have let it go. Regardless, that's a very nice profit.

when i find rare games for cheap that i could sell, I pick out something I want and call the rare game a "discount" :)
