US vs UK game boy (color) games

Any differences between UK and US gameboy games, specifically I found a UK version of yars revenge online that says its the UK version. Should there be any gameplay or other differences? I know game boys are region free but I wanted to make sure that, if I buy a game that is UKV instead of USA it won't matter as far as the actual game goes.

EDIT - In looking at my collection, my gameboy Mr. Do is UKV and seems pretty much the same as the US versions, gameplay wise.

There may be some minor censorship differences, such as the name change from Operation C to Probotector, but in general, the gameplay for UK and US games should be negligible if present at all.

There are also some games released in the UK but not the US. So far I found that StarHawk went unreleased in the US. I got lucky finding a UK version floating around a game store, only to be surprised it had to have been imported here.

Space Invaders has region locked Super Game Boy content. You can only play the game's 8 bit mode, if using a cart and SNES that do not match.
