Do you like shooting things, the sound of bullets as they carefully turn your opponent to pieces? What about weapons, lots of sweet physically offensive and sexually arousing weapons? If so, motherf**king Space Adventure is right for you.
In Space Adventure you control Prototype Co2, the most advance defensive unit of the planet HEX, in a war against evil and personal guilt. After years of protecting the people of HEX from “the Unknown”, the planet’s robot forces have become hostile and assembled the robot communist movement: K.I.L.L. In a world of confusion it is up to you to decide the future of the planet HEX. Will you stand by the people of HEX and fight as a monster, or will you aid your brothers and sisters and fight as a traitor?
What are you waiting for, Prototype Co2 ready for duty, orders?

Plays a lot like a 2d side-scrolling shooter actually, with a lot of neat RPG touches. :) Still working out the kinks of our engine though, with work and school it's hard to sit down and actually hammer out the masterpiece :)

I'm sure that plenty of people around here will be happy to share their opinions, just be sure to share what you've got -
art, developer diaries, video of running builds as soon as you've got them.
I'm sure members of the DP community would be happy to alpha or beta test when you're ready to go with that.

Thank you for the confidence points, I will keep you updated on the developments of our game.

As of now it will strictly be released for the PC, however if our kickstarter does well, we will mod to x-box. :) Thank you very much for the complement, the artwork is developed by a set of two character designers. We're all a small noobish team trying to develop games, but so far it's turning out great. :)

No problem, it is really hard to get a hold of good sprite designers. I currently work with one, but he does it as a hobby so it is hard for him to advance in projects unfortunately; if we had it for at least 1/4 time, we would accomplish a lot of new games much faster!
Keep the good work!

Funny enough I found my animators over craigslist, might be a good place for you to look. It did wonders for me and our company grew from 2 guys (an artist and myself as a programmer) to a 6 person team with 5 interns. It's quite interesting how many people are interested in getting their foot in the door, with game development. :) Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
Quick update: our engine did a great jump today, I'll post a small snipett of video here when we have it :)

Our engine finally handles a very wanted parralax Scrolling effect, check it out and let us know what you think. This week we will continue working on stage development, and re-design our stages to be more Metroid and Megaman Like:
