Quake 3 on PS2

Is it worth getting without playing online? ( not even sure it's still supported ).
All the you tube vids look as if campaign mode is just training for online play.
Is there a one player campaign mode similar to quake 2 on the PS1?

There is no campaign in Quake 3, only offline tournament with cpu. Dont waste your time with the ps2 version, if you really want to play quake 3 its free on pc and still a lot of fun. http://www.quakelive.com/#!home you can play this even on the crappiest pc's because it runs in the web browser.

quake 3 arena arcade on xbla is a wonderful game...overpriced...and not a ton of people still play it online...but when they do its a great time

quake live is quake 3 with a different name... its free, has lots of people online so I dont know why someone would want to buy any other version since nobody plays online anymore.
