A friend of mine listed his Atari VCS on eBay, but ended the auction and is selling it to me instead for $15. He told me he hasn't tested it, but that it worked the last time he used it (yeaaaaars ago). What I'm getting is:

- Atari VCS console, woodgrain with 4 switches on the front (my Sears Telegames Video Arcade looks similar but has 6 switches instead, and silver panel. Is this rare by the way?)

-AC adaptor

- 2 joysticks

- 2 paddles

- 7 games: Pac-Man, Tennis, Combat (I already own this one), E.T., Yars Revenge, Super Breakout, Haunted House

Good deal or no?

Looks good to me, especially since the games, albeit common titles, are all boxed. Plus you have original controllers and not some weird sticks thrown in on the side.

Based on the last time I looked on Ebay at the going rate for 2600's, I would guess that this one would have not gone higher than $30, not including shipping. So I would say yes, done good did you.

Seems llike a good deal to me. It's not exactly that easy to get even those games boxed anymore. I say it was worth it.

Now THAT is a bargain. I'd kill for an Atari 2600. You certainly lucked out, you did. Maybe except for E.T. Maybe you would like to take a trip to New Mexico? LOL
