View Full Version : Is Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate good single player?
A few days ago, I received a copy of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. This game is awesome, but I live in an area in which my only option is limited wifi, so I really cant play much online. Is this a problem for this game? I continuously see reviews praising the multiplayer, and I guess I was wondering if my lack of multiplayer will take away from the experience and make me miss out on certain features?
I'm pretty sure the servers were recently taken offline, so the point is probably moot.

You're thinking of the Wii game Monster Hunter 3. The servers went offline at the end of April. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is an updated version for Wii U that was just released in March.
While I never played MH3U, I had plenty of fun with MH3 offline. I actually finished the single player quest before even going online.

Good to hear. I haven't delved fully into MH3U yet, so thats nice to know going forward.
