Can you play Japanese games on a US VB?

If money is no object to you, pick up Space Invaders: Virtual Collection. One of my all-time favorites.
They work like a charm.
For a while EB was even selling the Japanese games at their stores to help them support the tons of VBs they were trying to get rid of.
They had Japanese Vertical Force, Baseball, Red Alarm Boxing and a few others as well.
There were only a few games released in Japan that weren't released state-side and vice-versa. Waterworld, Nester's Funky Bowling and Tetris weren't released in Japan. In Japan they had Virtual Fishing, Space Squash, V-Tetris, Space Invaders, Insmouth Mansion, Virtual Lab and an SD Gundam game. The baseball games are the same game with different graphics. The US version has more "realistic" baseball players whereas the Japanese version uses the super-deformed style. I beilive there was also a Japanese Bolwing game that was different than Nester's in Japan.
Norkusa is right. The Space Invaders game is very cool.

So what's the difference between V-Tetris and 3D Tetris, if they're not the same game?

V-Tetris isn't in 3D. It just plays like any other version of Tetris.

EB is where I got my imports from.
Good luck finding a copy of Insmouse, at least one's that's at a reasonable price. :D
