According to Anime News Network (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2013-05-19/blazblue-alter-memory-anime-story-cast-staff-revealed), the story centers on Ragna the Bloodedge - you might know him as "humongous sword guy" - and the ragtag gang of pugilists determined to collect the bounty on his head. Somehow, a fox lady, a little vampire girl and a weird, anthropomorphic cat person figure in there as well.
