Eidos Montreal confirmed through its official Tumblr (http://thiefgame.tumblr.com/post/51001884975/today-were-proud-to-announce-that) today that Thief (http://www.joystiq.com/game/thief-2014/) will be coming to Xbox One (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/xbox-one). The game, first announced in 2009 (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/11/eidos-montreal-confirms-thief-4-worst-kept-secret-in-industry/), was confirmed for PS4, PC and other next-gen consoles in March (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/05/thief-2014/), which we can now take to mean the next-generation Xbox revealed today (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/xbox-reveal).
The Thief reboot reportedly suffered many setbacks (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/04/30/report-thief-reboot-suffered-multiple-setbacks/) during its five-year development period, including significant turnover in staff (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/06/14/report-thief-4-development-in-trouble/) at Eidos Montreal.
