The Turbo Vision is the TV tuner adaptor for the Turbo Express, (Portable Turbografx 16). It has 2 ports on it, one says A/V and the other is EXT A/VT. I assume one is a video out and the other is a video in. But I don't know what type of connector plugs into it.

Pretty sure the Turbovision and the Game Gear TV adapters are effectively useless now that TV broadcast is digital and not analog.

I live in southern CA near the border of Mexico. There are a couple of US TV stations that broadcast analog from there, though this does not offer that many.

Well, I was more wondering about the A/V ports it has.

Pat from Pat's retro reviews and the Planet Arbitrary podcast "Play On" claimed that you could hook AV into the turbo express through the tuner and use it as a TV screen. There is a video on YouTube of a dude playing his XBox 360 through a GameGear. It uses the same premise.

Yeah, they have A/V inputs. Hook up whatever you want and watch/play on a shitty screen. If you really want to watch TV or play games on a 3" screen, then it makes more sense to grab a cheap back-up camera LCD on eBay and just use that instead. Better LCD, less crap to deal with, better battery life (if you wanna hook it up that way).

I believe both use a 1/4" mini plug. You'll need a coax-to-mini plug pigtail to hook anything up to it.
