After years of wanting one, I finally picked up a Vectrex. It works and I love it, but there's a few issues I'm hoping you guys can help me with. I've tried to google all of this info and I searched the forums here, but unfortunately it seems like Vectrex interest has dried up in the last 5 years, and all I get is a bunch of dead links that once held these answers. So any help on one or more of these questions is much appreciated.
1. First, the screen image is slightly off center and smaller than it should be. I was happy to learn that this can be corrected by adjusting some potentiometers inside the console, but I can't find a good guide on how to make the adjustments. Anyone know of one, or know what to adjust?
2. Also, this is probably a really dumb question.. but can the screen adjustments be made with the console turned on, or must it be turned off while adjusting?
3. The controller joystick springs back to the center when it is moved left/right, but it is loose and does not re-center itself when moved up/down. Is this normal, or is it defective? If the latter, is that a common problem and is there any easy fix for it?
4. Is there anywhere to buy a multicart online without having to wait for one to pop up on eBay? The site that carried it a few years ago does not seem to have it anymore.
