I am sure people have been dumping wii games in droves or will be shortly. When will we start seeing them turn up places. Where and what prices do you think we will see?

Why would there be? The Wii U is backwards compatible. The other problem is 80% of the games that get traded in to say Gamestop or the like are shovelware or games that just aren't worth much to begin with.

Well theres tons of Target clearance games at Goodwill but they've been there since last year. Nobody wants to buy them for the $5-$10 they are marked but they are usually shitty games anyway.

I've already been finding cheap Wii games at EB Games (Canada's GameStop). I don't understand how they do their pricing (Anubis II is still $15), but it seems that every time I go there, I end up finding something worthwhile for $4 or so. I would have thought the backwards compatibility would keep them from dumping, but it doesn't seem to be the case.

I did get a copy of Nights Journey of Dreams for a buck 50 at Gamestop a few months ago....
But I don't expect A list first party titles to drop much. Not if past experiences with the N64 and Gamecube are any indication.

When the first Wii came out Gamecube games were easy to find under $5 for most titles, Gamestop cleared them out for around $3 each even though the discs were compatible with the Wii. When this new system comes out Wii games will be cheap, they'll later get more expensive just like Gamecube games are getting expensive now. Plenty of Gamecube games I passed on in the $5-$10 range are now $20-$30 titles or more. They were cheap before they spiked in value.
