I just wanted to introduce myself , I know there is a thread specifically for this but I wanted to post pics of some of my collection and get some conversations going. I am going to be 33 in a few weeks 7-30, I work in the HVAC field and my favorite gaming things are handhelds and Sega Genesis (my first system/13 birthday) I wanted a NES for years and begged for one and I got the launch release Genesis instead. Not going to lie I was very happy for the newest system but I was still wanting that NES. And that is what sparked my collecting, once I got an NES I had to get NES games and I was so far behind almost every game I came across was one I wanted/needed or it was so cheap and I didnt own it I might as well add it. 2 things happened that got me really collecting games, 1. In highschool I sold my original Gameboy and a bunch of game and accessories, and 2 about 7-8 years ago I sold off a big part of my older system collection (Atari, Intellivision, Sega Master System I and II, a few other system and bunch of boxed games for each system). I regretted that a year or 2 later and that got me back seriously collecting again. As far as my collecting goals are in between all my other collections and sub collections I would like to complete a Sega Genesis Game CIB collection. Looking to get all the US release GBASP Gameboy Advance SP, GBP Gameboy Pocket, and GBC Gameboy Color systems in box. I am also collecting any gameboy accessory or related item I can and the have to have the box. I have a small Zelda collection, Tony Hawk games, Final Fantasy games, any dirtbike, motorcycle, atv, or snowmobile related game, and like always they must be CIB. And my most serious dedicated and unique collection I have is every hockey game released in the US for every US system EVER! I am closing in on my goal but thats for another thread. I do realized I have a problem with collecting and collecting things in the box, but I love this stuff!! Nothing beats that feeling when you score a game or system you have been looking or dreaming of forever and you finally find it at a yard sale! Over the years I never thought I would be where I am today with my collection and the things that I collect now. I will leave with a link to my boxed system collection gallery.
