We are going to have so much fun here! I'm excited about all the interactions and cool stuff possible with this game. I have a feeling that anyone who plays it is going to say it's one of their favorites :)

So what catagories of topics should we have? I'll start a few, add more if you think of them!

We'll keep this thread at the top, so everyone please introduce yourself. Your characters name and town name are very important for trading, so be sure to include that. I'd also like to hear what people like best about the game, their favorite character/townsperson, are you contributing to the museum or selling, etc!

Im glad I named my town this and recomend everyone thinking of somethig funny. Its nice hearing your towns people tell you "Im the mayor of The Hood" and "be sure to make lots of friends or you wont have much fun in The Hood"

I had been looking forward to this game since the Gamecube's launch, when I read about Animal Forest Plus. Nedless to say, I was VERY happy the day I bought this game (which is the day it hit store shelves, Sept. 17)

I'm selling almost everything I get (especially outfits: I'm choosing my own patterns) but I also recently started collecting all the fish. I will volunteer to be the hookup on this board for everyone who wants the eCard stuff, but doesn't want to buy the card reader!

Hey all - got this game on Wednesday - didn't get to try it out till last night, as I had a stack of papers to grade. I won't be able to play this game as often as I'd like, I'm sure - but I'm sure looking forward to it - and to sharing the experiences I've had here.

I've been playing Animal Crossing in the past week (I bought it as a birthday gift to myself), and I really like it so far.

My character's name is Phoenix and my town is Dweagh. Cherry trees are the type of fruit tree that grows here.

I just finished paying the initial loan for my house, so it will be much bigger tomorrow. My fave shirts are the Nebula and the Flame shirts, and I also designed a Ms. Pac-Man shirt.

He named his town himself. I was proud of him. We're not playing as often as we did, say, four weeks ago, but we still like turning it on and getting stung by bees. We time each other to see who can get a swollen bee stung face in the shortest period. My son gets a big kick out of going to Billy's house and using the toilets.
