Well I guess this belongs in this forum, since it is related to fancyin' up my gaming cave.
I have quite a few gaming posters/poster sets now. Most of them came from the Club Nintendo stuff a few years back. I really want them up on my wall, but I don't wanna use anything that will damage them like tacks, tape, adhesive patches, etc. I really would like each of them framed, but all of the poster frame thingies I've found have been rather expensive(around 10 bucks). That might be ok if it was only a few posters, but if I were to pay that kind of cash for each one I'd end up paying well over 100 smackers(US smackers that is).
Does anyone know of a cheap way to frame these? Are there cheaper frame sets I just haven't seen? Are there simple, cheap ways to do this at home myself? Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Arts & Crafts stores like Michael's and A.C. Moore frequently have sales and discounts on their store-brand poster frames. If you have any of those local I'd recommend checking on their pricing and then inquiring about upcoming sales.

Another thing you an try is a local thrift store. I managed to find a decent frame for my Atelier Totori poster for like $2. The only problem you might have is finding the same type of frame consistently.
Also, obviously the odds of finding something brand new are low at a thrift, but you never know what kind of stuff is there. If you like the frame and not the print you can always just re-donate the print or toss it.

If you have a Hobby Lobby near you, I'd recommend them. I find that the one in my area tends to be far cheaper than either the Michaels.

Thanks everyone. I'll have to see if there is a Michael's or AC Moore around here. I didn't think to check a thrift store....
Hobby Lobby was one of the places I checked recently and was shocked at how expensive the prices were. Maybe they have sales/discounts sometimes too.

I should have clarified that a bit. Hobby Lobby's base prices tends to be expensive as hell, but the one near me (not sure if sales are regional or not) always has a monthly sale going on, which cuts the prices down on select things to be cheaper than everywhere else. Frames and basic art supplies tend to go on sale more often than other things, but that might have something to do with my local one being right between two colleges.

Michaels also has online coupons every week. Sometimes specifically for frames, but often general coupons for, say, 40% off one item or 20% off the entire purchase. I pretty much never buy anything at full price there.

Ah that makes more sense.
Online coupons, gotcha. I'm kinda behind the times on that stuff hehe.
