I tried my hardest lat night to collect 3000 bells before tom closed but to no success. Damm autum all the mirgatory locusets are gone. Anyway tom had a fishing pole this morning so I dont need that anymore, but at least now i can sell hime fish to get enough.

You take the item for trade to Tom Nook. You tell him the name and village of your friend that you wish to send the item to. He gives you a 28 character code that you give to your friend. He goes to his Tom Nook and says the code. Then hopefully he gets the gift :D
