Is it compatible with the SMS? I'd love to play Outrun and Zillion II with FM-enhanced music!

No, the FM expansion is only compatible with the Mark III. The add-on is pretty hard to come by as well I think.

Alright, now do you enable FM music on games that use it? Is there a way to make an FM pack?

You can add the special Yamaha fm sound chip to your SMS....go to SMSpower.org and check out the forums...they will point you in the right direction.
