There was an arcade game (and not a very good one) I recall playing several times, in the Midwest, when I was a kid, and this would have been around the mid-1980s.
This is what I remember about it:
1. It was medieval, and you played a guy dressed like a bard or something
2. The goal of the game was to cross several screens, each one was a castle wall
3. You got points for jumping over arrows, or swinging over a flaming pit, etc.
4. At the end was a princess you were supposed to reach
5. The character walked in this exagerrated, courtly-love stride (like always kneeling and scraping)
6. I would have played it around the mid 1980s, though no earlier than 1982, or later than 1986. It was at the front of a grocery store.
Can anyone remember an arcade game like this? I'm not saying it was good; I just can't remember it.
