Flicky - Master System - Understanding Release Dates

It should be known that Flicky was not released for the USA version of the Sega Master System (the only 8-bit home console port was for the Japanese-market SG1000 Mk II; the other JDM ports were computer-based, such as the Sharp X1, NEC PC-8801 and MSX2). The only USA release of the game, besides the original arcade version (1984), was of the Genesis version (in 1991).

This was one of those games that I had never heard of before I played it in one of those Genesis plug n plays. I loved the game so much that I went on ebay and found the first decently priced CIB copy I could find. Very fun "under the radar" arcade game from Sega.

this is pretty much already known and has been. It isn't included in the 114 US game lists that are found on various sites.
