Sonic Adventure (DC) - complete, excellent condition, $10 AUS

I thought it was a good find.

What was amusing was that there was another Sonic Adventure sitting right next to it, except the case was broken, the manual was missing and the disc was badly scratched, priced at $19 AUS. :/

I looked at the clerk, who just went, "meh" and shrugged his shoulders. LOL

It went back to the shelf from where it came.....

Eh, I haven't gotten a paycheck recently so here's my meager finds:

Operation C (GB) - a Gameboy Contra game, pretty good $2.99 @ EB

and here's some "almost got it, but put them back because I was low on funds":

Evil Dead (DC) $5.99 @ EB

Sega GT/JSRF combo disc (Xbox) $5.99 @ Gamestop

Axelay (SNES) - cartridge only, $9 AUS.

This game fits into my category of: "Why the hell didn't I play this 10 years ago?" category.

Excellent stuff.

Great finds Hezeus, I remember liking Vandal Hearts quite a bit. And Valkyrie Profile, while I haven't played much of it, has about the best 2D graphics I've ever seen on a PS1 game, really beautiful game.

See? I told you Gamestop is a good source of Genesis R5s! I haven't seen a gamestop that carries complete Genesis games, though, in about 5 years...

It has nothing to do with the people in the area and everything to do with the fact that Gamestops throw materials away. I actually SAW someone trade in a bunch of Genny games that were complete, dude took the boxes/manuals out back and said he had to throw them away. He wouldn't even give them to me, said he would be fired for giving ANYTHING away, even if they were going to throw it out.

It depends on the store...the one closest to me also throws all of their boxes away no matter what. I was lucky one day to notice that and they just gave them to me for free. :D

However another Gamestop I go to keeps all of the boxes they get with the games and sells them the way they come in.
