So lately i've had a craving for some really good shoot'em ups, and this one came to mind: Strikers 1945. I fondly remember playing this game on the arcade machine and easily spending 10's of dollars in quarters on it, so I decided to look it up. I know that this game came out on PS1/PSX, but did it come out on any other home consoles? I might've seen it for the Sega Saturn, but that might have been a different version of the game. I would really appreciate any of the help you guys can give me. :)

The American game called Strikers 1945 on PS1 is actually Strikers 1945 II. Since it was the only one released in the US, they dropped the II. In Japan, both the original and II are available on PS1 and Saturn. There's also a PS2 game that is both of them bundled together (this didn't get a US release either).

Woah, thanks for the information! I really appreciate it, and I think the this'll be my excuse to get an Action Replay Plus or whatever for my Saturn so I can play those imports. :)

Definitely get an Action Replay! Strikers is best on the Saturn, imo, and is worth the price it goes for in auction. Don't be fooled by BIN prices, though. They're often $10-20 more than you can nab when one finally does go to auction.

Seconding Strikers for the Saturn. Very solid, very fun.
