View Full Version : Sealed Tetris for Game Boy
Just had a really awesome find at Goodwill. Tetris for GB, still sealed and really excellent condition, just a few bucks.
I was wondering how much something like this might be worth? I didn't seem to see many on ebay, and I noticed that this isn't the player's choice version either. I thought the original was a pack in title too, so I don't know if this is particularly rare or valuable these days.

That version is pretty valuable. It also looks to be in really nice condition. You're probably looking at $200+ assuming you find a sealed collector who wants it. Your best bet is to post over on Nintendoage.

The original was a pack-in with all consoles from 1989 to about the middle of 1993, when the console-only "Basic" package was introduced. I can't remember if the Tetris bundle was still sold after that. Though those four years still represent a lot of console owners that didn't need to buy the game. Early 1995 Nintendo introduced the Play-It Loud series (colored consoles) which came in a plastic storage box but no game. I think the Player's Choice games were first released in 1996. If that helps at all guessing the rarity.
