Can a Famicom Converter fit in the later 3 screw shells?

Well what do you mean by "Famicom Converter"? Do you mean the Gyromite converter trick? (http://www.vintagecomputing.com/index.php/archives/23) Or like an actual Honeybee Adapter? (http://famicomworld.com/system/converters/honeybee-family-adaptor/) Because there is a big difference...

Pretty sure he's talking about OEM adapters since he refers to "later 3 screw carts", which would imply that he pulled the adapter from a 5-screw cart and wants to know if it'll work with the later shell style.

What I want to do is, Put my Multi Adventure Island Cart in a OEM converter and house in an old baseball 3 screw Cart
