Issue with my R.O.B. the robot not working

The unit was working perfectly when I first recevied. Moved in all directions, arms opened and closed properly. I shut if off for about an hour. Went to play gyromite and now the red light on the top is not going red and nothing is working. I changed the brightness in the screen and made sure the room is dark. Please help me out here guys.

You need an old tv to get it to work i guess. Or something is wrong with its censor.

I have been using an old school tv. I was working fine the first time but now its not. If its the sense, can it be replaced and how do I replace it.
