Hit the flea market today and found a pristine looking Pink Goes to Hollywood on Genesis for $10. I might have over paid a little but it was in excellent shape overall.
On the way home, we stopped at a Gamestop and got some items on the B2G1F sale including Dragon's Lair on DS, Gundam: Crossfire and Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom on PS3.

True Crime Streets of L.A. (GameCube, Complete) - .50
Command & Conquer: Red Alert - Retaliation (PS1, No Manual) - 1
5 DS Cases & Manuals (No Games) - Free
PS1 & GC games were asking price and DS games were a buck each but when I pointed out that they were empty they were going to throw them out so I asked if I could have them.
Xbox (System Only) With Xbox Remote - 4
3 SNES Games With Mario Paint Mouse Pad - 13
The Xbox was 3 and the remote was 2 and the guy offered to do both for 4. No price on the Mouse Pad and when I asked it was a buck. The SNES games were 5 each but when I asked about doing better offered to do 12 for the 3.

Sunday Flea Market finds.

Sega CD games - guy asked me to make him an offer. I had no idea the values on them and wasn't going to look them up so I guessed $40 and he took it. Pretty good deal although I probably could of got them for less.
Sega CD - $4, For parts not working. Funny thing was this was from a video game vendor and I bought it for the attached Sega Model 1 extender (not in pic). He said he didn't try too much and thought the disc motor was bad. I changed the fuse this morning, works perfectly.
Ultima, Wizardry - $10 each
Sonic - $2
Super Gameboy, Kirby, Link, Miner 2049er, Kid Icarus - $5 each

I'm not sure on the value of the other games but Robo Aleste is probably worth most of that price alone.
(which makes me think I should consider getting a copy sooner than later)

I picked up this Sega Game Gear collection off Craigslist in the Sub-$100 range. 94 different games, manuals, Blue system. Very nice guy who knew a ton of information and I wish I could of stayed longer to talk to him. Every thing is in excellent shape, the games and even manuals are in alphabetical order. Lots of different stuff, Multicarts (cant get either to work, If someones knows a trick, let me know), Japanese and European imports, Codemaster games. Have had a lot of fun going through the games. Some of the titles are James Pond 3: Operation Starfi5sh (can't find much on this), Tails Adventure, Crystal Warriors, Micro Machines 1+2, Mega Man, Defenders of Oasis.

Wow, that's a steal of a deal and at $1 per game the system was free. Awesome find - very jealous...

Terrific find on the Mega Man. That one is elusive sometimes, and you stole it. :) It's worth about half of what you paid for the entire lot, based on what I'm seeing currently on eBay, so good job!

Hit up my local shop today and did some collection fill-in. The Caveman Games copy goes nicely with the random Cavemen Games box I have (not that it's worth much. I've never played it but I'm assuming mediocre at best as it's a Data East title).

These were all about $4 apiece, with the exceptions being 10 Yard Fight and Caveman Games which were $3. The FourScore was 9.99, the boxed NES Max was 9.99, and he gave me the cleaning kit (which has never been used. Still sealed inside), for free.
Not a bad day. No rare finds but some things I consider neat. :)

Panzer Dragoon(SAT)
Darius Gaiden(SAT)
Three Game Pack(SAT) sealed
Mario Super Sluggers(Wii)
Biohazard 0 demo(GC)
Tetris Axis(3DS)
TRU Demo sleeve(PS1)
With the exception of the Biohazard demo the rest of this stuff came from two different Goodwill's. Tetris was a Target clearance and the Saturn games and Wii games were mixed in with the dvds and games. There were a bunch of Saturn long case titles and it looked like someone donated their collection. But most of it was sports titles and a few other things not worth picking up. The three game pack is still sealed. Mario Super Sluggers is missing the manual. It was sitting next to a case for Super Smash Bros. Brawl but inside was a disc for Wii Fit and the case was pretty beat up so I left it. I wish I could have found Panzer Dragoon Saga instead of PD but it turns out that game is worth something too. The TRU demo sleeve was missing the disc but I have needed this sleeve for about 10 years from when I originally found the disc. So now my demo is finally complete.

Hit a few stores over the weekend since almost every one was having some sort of Labor Day sale. I didn't get anything super fantastic, but here are some highlights:
Movie Trading Co (Buy 2 get 1 free):
NBA 2k2 (Dreamcast) - leaving me only 10 games left to complete the US DC collection!
5 Xbox games - nothing special, just more for the collection.
FX Game Exchange (Buy 1 get on 50% off):
Dragon's Lair (3DO) - with long box
Gyruss (5200) - loose
Activision Decathlon (5200) - loose
Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter (Saturn) - Japanese complete
X-Men vs. Street Fighter (Saturn) - japanese complete
Call of Cthulhu (Xbox) - another tough one that I've been looking for!
6 more original Xbox games
Good times!

I've had my empty Pole Position cabinet out at two yard sales for both free and $10 (back and forth throughout the day as, you know, sometimes a free item gets no interest) and it's still in my parent's garage. And mine is clean, in good shape, top repainted, vent repainted, inside sanded and disinfected. @_@
Sadly Pole Position cabinets, regardless of orientation, are a dime a dozen. Atari manufactured a crap ton of them and the boards were problematic from day one. Most had a Matsushita monitor which was a total pile as far as arcade displays go, so that's usually not even worth salvaging out of a complete cabinet. The twin ARII boards are also fairly problematic but those are a relatively straightforward parts replace for repair. The PCB stack is where the real problems lie. In fact there is a long running project to build a more efficient, reliable, multi-game PCB as a drop in replacement solution.
I paid $50 for a complete but shitcanned PP years ago, stripped it, sold the demolished boards to a restorer who wanted to salvage the custom chips, cleaned up the control surfaces, rebuilt the pedal and did a clean and seamless MAME conversion. Since it seems to want to stay with me, I now plan on re-doing it as a multi-driver with a PP cockpit pedal assembly (accelerate and brake), four position earlier era Atari shift (expands the number of games I can run since a stock PP shifter only has a single switch for high gear, board defaults to low) and an analog encoder (originally I was using a straight up microswitch for the accelerator).
It didn't turn out too bad for doing the conversion as cheap as possible. Example: all control surfaces are driven by a single hacked mouse: left / right scroll for steering, left click for shift high, right click for accelerator - coin was a hacked keyboard, just the single button.
http://www.classicplastic.net/dvgi/special-poleposition-16.jpg
Take note how big the cabinet is once home - fully populated PP cabs weigh about 300 pounds and are extremely top heavy.
I can, however see that cabinet going to someone looking for specific parts for other PP restos. PP panels have jumped up in price a little and the now higher shipping rates don't help. Some people still pay a few bucks for the cockpit shroud if it isn't cig burned to death. Marquee, coin door, looks like it may have some of the harness... it could be parted out and you'd probably make about.... $50.

SNES Stuff, Game Boy Stuff & Battle Arena Toshinden 2 - 35.50
5 N64 Games - 15
Pac-Man Adventures In Time (PC) - 1
Resident Evil (GC, No Manual) - 2
Metal Gear Solid VR Missions (Disc Only) - 1
I offered 30 for the SNES & Game Boy stuff which was countered with 34 (15 & 5 was the asking price at the yard sale the seller got them at) then added in 1.50 for the PS1 game. N64 games were asking 3 each and the other items were asking price. Game Boy games which are kind of hard to see are Kirby's Dream Land, The Rugrats Movie, Super Mario Land & Spot: The Cool Adventure.

Finds from Henderson Book & Music Exchange last week:
Legaia 2 (PS2 CIB- to go with my Legend of Legaia)
In the Hunt (PS1 CIB longbox - looked like fun, thought it was expensive... as it turns out, it is a lot less expensive than the Saturn version, but the better half says the PS1 version is a better port. Saturn version most likely expensive because Saturn)
Pokémon XD Gale of Darkness (GC CIB - was pretty happy to find this one; one of my friends has been looking for this and Colosseum for a while)
NES cart only:
Guardian Legend
3D WorldRunner
Wrath of the Black Manta
Codename Viper
~$40 for all

Batman: Arkham City strategy guide
Batman: Arkham Asylum(PS3)
Batman: Arkham City(PS3)
I picked up the three of these in a lot online. I'm still playing thru the 360 version of Arkham Asylum. Anyway, I swapped the guide with the one I picked up a few weeks ago since this one is in better condition. The entire lot was alittle more than $20 and change, roughly a third of what the guide goes for by itself.

Various Magazines
Adobe Photoshop Elements 9
Friends With Benefits dvd
Valentines Day dvd
Alice(PC)
Bad Dudes(PC)
Windows XP Standard edition(PC)
This was the first bunch of stuff I grabbed from the flea market this weekend. Well the Adobe software and magazines were actually from Savers. Although the magazines were 29 cents each I had a total of 5, which somehow were thrown into their buy 4 get one free book sale. I wasn't aware of the sale and they always price their books and magazines seperate. I've never even gotten books from there since they charge more than Goodwill does. The two dvd movies were $1. Thats pretty much the only way movies were selling there. I've noticed that people don't even buy movies for $4 or $5 at Goodwill anymore but I can't blame them since most have hardly no resale value at all, other than the rare oddity or out of print anime movie. Alice was $3 and the Bad Dudes game was 5 cents. This was from the same kid I bought a music cd from last year for 25 cents. He knows how to price stuff to sell. The Windows XP disc was from a Goodwill located near the flea market.
http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/rr306/THE-1-2-P/GEDC3359_zpsd636a969.jpg (http://s494.photobucket.com/user/THE-1-2-P/media/GEDC3359_zpsd636a969.jpg.html)
Silent Hill 3(PS2)
Elderscrolls III: Morrowind(Xbox)
X-Men Origins: Wolverine dvd sealed
Super Mario Galaxy(Wii)
Mean Girls dvd
Riddick Trilogy dvds
Robocop Trilogy dvds
Microsoft Word 2000
Gameboy Color with Pokemon Silver
Gameboy Advance with Pokemon Sapphire
And this is the rest of the stuff I picked up from the flea market. The three movies(which are technically seven movies) were 3 for $5. Like I said above, people who sell anything but recent dvd releases for more than $3 usually end up going home with everything they came with. You really need to have your dvds priced cheap if you want them to sell. X-Men Origins was from another seller and even though it was sealed they only wanted a dollar for it. Super Mario Galaxy was $3 and Silent Hill 3 and Elderscrolls III: Morrowind were both $5 from the guy I bought the three movies from. The Gameboy finds were interesting. They were from two different sellers and both only wanted a dollar for each, even though they both had Pokemon games in them. The women selling the GBA said she wasn't sure it worked so thats why she only wanted a dollar. It didn't have batteries but I tested it when I got home and it works fine. The GBC also lakced batteries but it works too.
What I didn't pick up is another Gameboy Color system with Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. The seller wanted $25 for it and I'm sure he took it home with him. There was also someone selling a 360 slim with kinect, three or four games and an XBL 3 month card for $90/obo. Even if the card didn't work that still was a good deal. They didn't know the size of the hard drive but I'm guessing it was a 4 gb. I probably should have went back and offered them a best offer. I could have used it for trade towards my XB1 purchase.

This doesn't happen often but today, instead of an addition to the collection, I had a subtraction. My corgi got mad because I guess I didn't get up at the proper time this morning. I woke to her eating these and just starting in on Halo 3 ODST (not pictured).

Nice find on the US 1 Trucking, Videogamerdaryll - I've heard people pay decent cash for those compared to most HO slotcar stuff.
Catching up from last weekend for me. I visited a recently rebranded indie game store (or a half store I should say) that some coworkers and friends were talking about. His inventory was pretty decent with solid prices. The usual high demand games at eBay prices to allow him to sell everything else at a discount. I understand that and have no problem with it. I wasn't looking for anything in particular and didn't have a lot of cash to burn so I only bought a few things.
NES - Wall Street Kid (complete) $11.99
GEN - King Salmon (loose) $1.99
PS1 - Asciiware joystick (loose) $14.99
Wall Street Kid is one of my favorite NES games, after all, I'm a SOFEL fanboy. It's in pretty nice shape, one corner is crushed in a little but it almost appears like that happened 20 years ago. I've heard all kinds of great stuff about King Salmon, especially when comparing it to The Blue Marlin, another of my favorite NES games. Unfortunately this game is a stinker when compared to 'Marlin. Oh well, it'll make good review fodder, good scathing review fodder. The Asciiware joystick is something I've been after for awhile as a multipurpose stick for MAME away from my mini vertical cabinet. Works great and considering I got it for what shipping alone goes for on eBay I can't complain. He actually didn't have it out, I asked when I was buying the other stuff and he pulled it out from behind the display cases.

The Taizo Hori plush from Mr. Driller G was off eBay, USA seller incredibly, and is for my girlfriend for Christmas. I was really surprised at how large it is as I was expecting regular UFO catcher size. Need to spot clean a couple places slightly but it really is in excellent shape for how old it is and being a large plush toy. It ended up being around $12 shipped. I'm building a full assortment of real-world Taizo Hori and Masuyo Tobi gear right now and was really happy to find something unique like this for a gift.

Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (Complete) - 3
Tekken Tag Tournament (Complete) - 1
Pac-Man Books (Smaller One Still Has The Record) - .15
GoldenEye 007 & Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA - 1.25
7 N64 Games & Twisted Metal 2 (All Boxed Games Are Complete) - 5
SNES With Everything Needed & Donkey Kong Country 3 (Controllers Are Knockoffs) - 10
9 SNES Games - 10
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe was the only thing I got Friday and was asking price. I got 15 small books at one sale for a buck and figured that works out to about .15 for the 2 video game related ones I have pictured. I didn't realize how bad the picture turned out till I got a good look at it on my computer but you can probably still tell that the 2 N64 games at the bottom are in really poor shape but I figured I'd take a chance on cleaning them up and hopefully getting them to work for .75 & .50. The N64 games & Twisted Metal 2 were a buck each and I offered 5 for the 8 I Got. When I asked about video games at one house they brought out a SNES with DKC 3, asked how much and they countered with how much will you give me for it not sure if they were going to want the moon & the stars I offered $10 anyways which they took. Asked about video games at one sale Friday and the lady hinted at having something older, return on Saturday and it was SNES games that were $2 each. Got Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat & Street Fighter II for 2 each then on the way home I stopped by again and ended up seeing if they wanted to do better to get rid of the rest which were still around. Guy offered to do 6 for the last 6 and I was thinking more like .50 each so I countered with 4 which he took. Anything else I didn't mention details about was asking price.

Tekken 5 (Complete) - 3
Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic (Complete) - 4
Spy vs Spy (Case & Manual) - 1
Super Mario All*Stars (Wii, Complete But No Extras) - 3
3 GBA Games (Midway's Greatest Arcade Hits Hard To See) - 3
Everything Else (Road Rash The Harder To See Game Gear Game & Nascar 08 In One of The PS2 Systems) - 18
Star Wars KOTOR was 5, offered 3 which was countered with 4. Spy vs Spy was 5 and does have the game in the case but when I pointed out the damage to the contacts the seller offered it for a buck. "Everything Else" was in a box, I saw Gauntlet & Brave Fencer Musashi (Missing The Manual & Front Insert) and when I asked the guy said he rather get rid of the whole box and wanted $15 so I figured I'd take a chance and look into what else what in the box when I got home. He also had another loose PS2 slim that he wanted 5 for which I countered with 3 to get up to 18 total. Not pictured but video game related were a bunch of empty cases (mostly sports games) and a Hyperscan (system only). Anything else I didn't mention in detail was asking price.

Front Mission: Evolved - $2.25
House of the Dead: Overkill - $8.10

We hit 3 different stores in the area and there were a few on the list I still wanted but couldn't find.

Last week GS was running a 3/$10 sale on a lot of the same titles on this week's sale. From that I picked up Little Big Planet (PS3), Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP), and Kidz Sports Crazy Golf (Wii)

Stopped by Gamestop today and picked up a bunch of games for my PS2 collection. While scanning in the game, the store's system crashed due to it not being able to handle too many games at once, especially not when it is adding in the "3 for $8.50" sale they have on PS2 games. And when it crashed, the system also changed the price, effectively giving me almost 10% off of the total. :D

An unused VIP Guest pass from the Nintendo World Championships, 1990. Interesting thing about this that you can't really tell in the photo is the texture. It's a cloth-based sticker from the look of it. Far more durable than your standard stickers. Makes sense, right?

Craigslist the other day... Whoa boy. Met a guy who purchased an entire game store who sold retro and modern games alike. He had no idea what some of his stuff was, so I picked up a Virtual Boy for 5 bucks, a Turbografx-16 for 5, a Game.com for like 2, a Gameboy Advance, and a bunch of Sega Saturn games (including Die Hard Arcade! :) )

GTA was 3 but took 2. The GBA was 15, offered 5 since it wouldn't turn on and ended up at 8. When I asked about video games at one sale the girl hinted at a Game Boy to which I figured when she checked with the other lady it was going to be sold, instead for some reason it was up on a shelf off to the side away from the rest of the stuff for sale all closed up in the Nuby case. Everything was boxed up by system with no prices. When I asked N64 25, Genesis 20, SNES 20 & what was just the PSone system with no games 10. I offered 40 for everything but the PSone and the guy countered with 50 which I agreed on then he offered to add in the PSone for 5 more but he ended up adding it in for nothing extra as he wanted rid of it even when I didn't take his offer of 5 more for it. I asked about any other video games and he went in and grabbed the PS1 games and wanted 2 each. I offered 5 for 3 games which he took but then he said he rather be rid of them all and ended up offering to add in the last 6 games at .50 each to bring me up to $58 total. No manual for golf & the 2nd Pac-Mania but the rest of the Genesis games are complete and all of the PS1 games are complete expect the Spyro game which was added in for free since it was missing the game disk.

Found Beany Bopper, Deadly Duck, and Fast Eddie in a game store in Shreveport, LA last Friday. I knew that I had two of these first-wave 20th Century Fox games for the Atari 2600 already, but I couldn't remember which ones exactly, so I bought all three of them for $1.95 each. Got Burning Force for the Genesis free in their "buy 3 get one free" sale.
In a flea market down in Lafayette, LA on Saturday I picked up Dr. Seuss Fix-Up the Mix-Up Puzzler and Telly Turtle for the Colecovision for $4.99 each, loose. Those were the only two Colecovision games they had, and the most sensibly priced games in their Atari bins.

Saturday Flea Market:
Rush through, had to get early home and pack up for a Race..
Passed up an Atari 2600 Jr./mini system with around 20 games for $50.00.
Several of the games were not common to me,but I was still on the fence..I’ve bought from the vendor before and most of what he sells doesn’t work”though” he swears’ he’s tested everything...
Several of the games were not common to me,and I was at the moment of,oh man I hope I don’t pass up a rare, expensive game..
I did something I barely do,I got out my phone and started looking up the games..EBay ranging from $22.00 each to $5.00..The other games were $99 cent..
I don’t need another Atari,I have too many Atari games right now listed on eBay not selling..I’d had bought it at $30.00 but the vendor was firm on price.
Pickings were better then usual, lots of Nintendo's but 30 dollars for a loose NES deck is high..
I wound up buying a super clean PS2 for $20.00..It works great,I needed a reliable PS2 to test games..The last one I bought started to act up..
I also picked up three vintage calculators ..3 for $10.00
I looked through a lot of stuff and a lot of games but nothing that was worth buying at it’s asking price..
Later I hear what my friend passed up there and bought..UGH!!..he passed up things I’d had bought but didn’t see and he bought stuff I passed up..

For me with bundles I usually count the good games I'll be keeping as free, and the stuff I'll be selling as what I paid for. It feels more rewarding that way. For your bundle I would figure the N64 consoles are worth what you paid, everything else would be free. Lots of cool stuff there.

MLB 11 The Show (PS3) $3.99 (50% off sale)
NHL 11 (PS3) $3.49 (50% off sale)
NHL 12 (PS3) $7.49 (50% off sale)
I'm not sure how long that 50% off sale was going on the pre-owned games they have near the front, but there was a whole list (I'm sure mostly sports games!). Maybe their website has the list there too...I may look it up to see if there were any other games worth getting.

From the last week or so...

$3.99 "soft goods" bundle from Salvation Army. Battle Arena Toshinden is the Not For Resale version and C&C Red Alert has a bonus Resident Evil 2 manual inside; I sold a RE2 without a manual a few weeks ago. Such is life.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v203/orangest/CIMG4809_zpsffbbbd34.jpg (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/orangest/media/CIMG4809_zpsffbbbd34.jpg.html)
The Japanese Mario Kart 64 was $1 from a random thrift. The PS1 games were a total of $5.96 at a Goodwill bookstore near my work. They have a bunch of Xbox, PS2 and 360 games for $.99, but as you might imagine they're all sports and very common titles.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v203/orangest/CIMG4805_zps4c6c3aed.jpg (http://smg.photobucket.com/user/orangest/media/CIMG4805_zps4c6c3aed.jpg.html)
Found these at the neighborhood Goodwill. The Sewer Shark is sealed with a few small tears. When I brought them to the front, the cashier commented about how weird it was to see them, and that there were a few there the day before in the CD section (where I found Street Fighter II Turbo) including "some Woody Woodpeckers". So after I paid $5.99 each for those two I decided to mosey back to the CDs and take one more closer look...

Got it for $2.99. I've now owned all three, though I sold the first two a while ago.

Recently found SSX (PS3) on the Target clearance shelf for about 13 bucks, got the Best Buy deal of the day on Black Ops 2 (360) and today I picked up a Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 for 5.99 at Goodwill.

Sega Genesis Stuff - 5
Overlord (Complete) - 1
Animal Crossing & Memory Card (Complete) - 3
Nascar Racing 2002 (CIJ) - 1
Mouse Trap (2600) - 1
Plug & Play - .75
When I asked about video games the Genesis stuff was brought out at one house, asking 10 took 5. Animal Crossing was marked 3, I asked about adding the memory card in with the game for 3 which was taken. Everything else was asking price.

Phew, just got back from the Flea Market this morning to get my Retro Gaming Hunt on. I haven't been in a few weeks due to various factors. So it felt good to get out again. Had some interesting finds too. So I made a video about them...

I haven't really posted my finds since I've found very little. And most people here don't seem to care if I buy a game on Steam. So...

$3. It's complete in box. It also included a joystick card which I'll trade off soon.

$1 for both. Same seller as the Abuse game.
What sucked is that the guy had a few other valuable games... but someone stole the CDs off the boxes. Sigh.
