Possible New Super Mario Bros Wii variant?

doing this from my phone let's see how this works.

I saw that new super Mario for the Wii, the one that's normally in a red dvd case, is in a white one. took a pic and tried to attach. if not attached I'll re do it when I get home.
what do you guys think? error or variant? think they are going to come this way from now on?
I figure they would have kept it in a red one till printing stopped.

any way literally found this 10 minutes ago at work while stocking 3ds's. store isn't open yet don't know if I can say what store its from but I'm sure you can figure it out from the shelf labels

Perhaps they were just printed with the cover art and the disc, so some employee put them in the default Wii case?... That's my only guess. :|

lol I did this with my copy that came bundled with my wii for a trading program at my local ebgames. I just printed the cover on thecoverproject and put it in a white case to make sure they would take it, because the bundled copy was in a small cd cardboard .

I just saw that these were brand new copies, my guess is a new reprint from Nintendo in regular cases.

Must be a reprint if it's on the Walmart shelf. (I avoid the place as much as I can, but I still recognize their tags, as well as the logo on the bottom.)

i guess the true test will be when i get another shipment, like i say the store hasnt opened yet and we only got 2 coppies in, these 2, and we are supposed to have alot more before it opens to the public.

that reminds me, New luigi U came in as well. only 2 coppies and that was the same way at another store....
