So I saw this ebay listing here (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sony-Playstation-One-Ps1-Defectve-Lot-TV-Screens-Games-/310736665603?nma=true&si=x6WOHRigZb4d0chhw0EzuE%252FLaCw%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557) while randomly browsing. Dont think I ever hit the buy it now button so fast in my life. 25$ for 4 of em.
Short story: I was able to get 3 of them fully working and now don't know what to do with em. I was also wondering if any of you could help me get the 4th one working. The screen and bulb are fully functional, but it will only display a black bar about an inch thick. Swapping around different parts I know its the motherboard that has an issue.

Long story: Screens a,b,c,d
Screen A has some motherboard issue where it will only display a black bar on the screen with no back light. As such I used the inverter to fix screen D
Screen B was in perfect condition functionally. but it's casing was destroyed and power cable cut. So I used the casing and connectors from screen A
Screen C the inverter had somehow lifted from the board on one side. I restored the trace by soldering a wire to the contacts the trace connected to.
Screen D had a burnt out inverter. It even deformed the plastic casing. Replaced it with the inverter from screen A and used the back casing from screen B as it was still good.
If anyone knows how to fix screen A let me know.
If you know what I can do with these screens now also let me know.

And just something interesting to note. Screen D had a different PCB color green than the others. The wires were also all red/white instead of white/blue like in the others. I wonder why that would be.
