Recently I obtained multiple copies of Mega Man: The Wiley Wars. These were Taiwanese copies of the game - i.e. bootlegs, most likely, but not so different than any modern "reproduction" of the game either. The copies I found were made in the early 1990s, and they all run great. The quality is also here, the products are solid.

The guy I got these from did not have the original Sega clamshell cases, and had folded the artwork up; however, you could just take an extra Sega case, put the artwork in it, and things would look pretty nice again.

Carts are said to be brand new, though I am just taking the guy's word for it, who sold these to me. Knowing that he was in the industry though, I have to believe his word as truth.

Asking $20 per copy, shipped worldwide (with registered mail). Any questions, please ask. I would gladly sell multiple copies to people too, if interested. If you enjoy the original Mega Man games, and want a cheap way to play the first three on your Sega, this is an affordable and quality way to do so.

I'm not sure. I will have to check and get back with you on that.

If so I'll take one. Is shipping to Canada a problem?

Same question, if saving is supported I'd love to pick up a copy from you as well...

Just checked it out this morning. The game does not save, unfortunately, but I guess that is to be expected.

I am quite surprised though, why so many people are asking if the games save or not; I am not sure why someone would even want to save a Mega Man game, tbh, as those games are short enough that they are ones that were just to sit down and play in one go, imo anyways.

I've heard that you need the save feature to enter some special levels or something like that, but I thought the "repro" versions ran into the same trouble with saving?

Anyway, I have several of these for sale, so hopefully someone will have an interest. Any more questions, please ask :)

Yeah, saving is nice, as it enables you to enter the special "Wily Tower" game after you clear MM 1, 2 & 3. I suppose you could do it all in one sitting, but that's a looootta mega man in one go.
I do have a repro that saves (thanks to a now-banned DP'er, unfortunately), so they're certainly capable of it. I'm sure you still won't have an issue selling these, though. If I didn't already have mine I'd certainly be interested.
