Following reports of Sega bidding (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/08/05/report-sega-bidding-on-atlus-parent-company/) on Index Holdings (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/07/19/atlus-parent-company-selling-operations-publishing-plans-are-u/), parent company of Atlus (http://joystiq.com/tag/atlus), Japanese media company Nikkei has reported (http://www.nikkei.com/article/DGXNASDD1801E_Y3A910C1000000/) that Sega will purchase Atlus for 14 billion yen. The deal is to be concluded in November.
Sega rattled its cup (http://www.joystiq.com/2013/07/10/sega-wants-money-from-bankrupt-thq/) at the grave of THQ in July, seeking revenue from the publisher that was made through pre-orders for Sega's Company of Heroes 2 (http://www.joystiq.com/game/company-of-heroes-2).
