2 quick ones....

first does it still come with Nintendo land and Zelda or just Zelda?

and do you think having the box the Wii u shipped in to the store aswell as everything else would hold any more value in 20 years than with out?

No on the first one, it's Zelda only and a downloand, not a disc. The shipping box might make it slightly more valuable, but this thing isn't exactly rare based on how many stores are carrying it and the stacks I saw at Best Buy and Toys R Us today.

Nothing announced yet, but if Nintendo doesn't do another bundle, I'm sure retailers will do their own deals with free games or maybe a gift card.

well hmm, and I see this thread double posted some how, mobile version was giving me problems so if any one comes across it the other was a bug.

any way i'm not thrilled thinking about the whole thing, I figured it would be just bundled with a disc and have a different box but instead its got a wii pad with gold decals on it, no disc and no Nintendo land.
i'm honestly afraid that the golds going to rub off like some of those 3ds's from a few years ago. any regular use, not even heavy use and its diminished.

I figured i'd get it and leave the Zelda game alone if it were disc based, this digital stuff though....

I might swap my layaway for something else then....gotta think about it....

a wonderful 101 bundle would have been cool

I'm thinking about picking one up, too, but just can't decide. I don't think they are 'decals' on the controller, though. Haven't held one, but I think it is paint under the clear plastic layer. If that's what is swaying you, might be worth looking into to be sure.

Correct, it's not a decal, it is in fact painted with clear coat over it. I'm sure it will be fairly durable, but nothing is totally wear proof.

from what I have seen there was no clear coat over it

It definitely has some kind of sealant. I handled one yesterday and it felt pretty durable to me, but again it really depends on how you use it.

I swapped it out today with the Mario u bundle. it comes with discs and not just a bunch of download stuff plus NATO u and Luigi u total about 90 bucks in games where Zelda is only 40. both systems same price of course

I just picked one up yesterday. I've been meaning to get a Wii U, I was just torn between this and the Mario edition. In the end, I chose this one because of the controller, even though I'd much rather play the Mario games then Wind Waker.
