I am clearly not super elite enough to keep track of all these numbered "gens" going around the forums these days.
I'd like to see some sort of rerelease of shadow of destiny / memories. I've no idea if that is 6th gen or not.

Most 6th-gen games are so close gameplay wise to 7th and 8th gen games that an HD re-release would be nothing more than paying for the same game again only with more polished graphics, especially when I still regularly play on my PS2 and Gamecube. That being said though, there are a few Dreamcast games that could benefit from an HD update, most notably Shenmue, but HD Power Stone would also be amazing fun.

I think the better question would have been 5th-gen games you want to see an HD remake of, not 6th. I thought most of the 6th-gen games looked pretty good already, whereas there are a number of 5th-gen games that could use a facelift. Think about Spyro or Crash Bandicoot in HD!

Final Fantasy 7 isn't my favorite, but after seeing Crisis Core on the PSP, I want to see a remake. Especially when seeing scenes from FF7 in Crisis Core, like when Zack, Cloud, and Sephiroth first reach Nibelheim for one example. Most of the game game from Nibelheim to the end of Crisis Core is in FF7.

Timesplitters 2 in HD and with online multiplayer is something I'd probably never stop playing.

I can't think of much but given the so-so engine Eternal Darkness had due to starting as a n64 game in design I think a full visual overhaul would really do the supposed scare values and atmosphere a world of good.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and San Andreas.
Yeah, remaking this games would just mean more polished graphics, but I liked these too much.

The first game would be Halo 2. I was hoping Microsoft would have already announced this for next year seeing as it's Halo 2's ten year anniversary. I'd also like to see Burnout 3 get an HD remake because Criterion don't seem too interested in making any new Burnout games anytime soon. Lastly(but not leastly, if thats really a word) would be the two Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic games. I would replay those games in standard def if they added achievements so HD would be even better...with achievements.

I'd love to see an HD version of Shenmue ... not a straight port, I prefer an enhanced port or a new game :puppydogeyes:
If you are talking about HD ports, I think that Star Wars KotOR is badly needed, we need RPGs of that quality !. Xenosaga, SMT Digital Devil Saga, Suikoden V .... Fatal Frame I, II and III ... :popcorn:
