So I've decided I want a few super famicom games from yahoo japan's auction site. Problem is, I have no idea how to do it from america. Has anyone here done this, and if so, how?

You'll almost definitely need to use a proxy service (to buy the items for you and then ship them to you for a commission fee).
Most sellers will not ship overseas, plus I hear Yahoo! Japan requires a paid account to buy stuff (thus requiring a Japanese address/credit card, etc.).

Did you even try to search the forum? It's not like this topic has never come up before.
