I have a question about The Battle of Olympus (NES)

The question I want to get an answer for is this: "Exactly where do you stand while you attack the boss in order for the level BGM to play again, instead of the boss music?" (See Attica at 5:33, after Gaea is defeated, for example.)
Normally, the boss music always plays even after the defeat of the boss and doesn't change until you enter a room or go to another stage.
