NES rom/pcb questions.

How do i go about making an NES Game? I have had a few ideas on the backburner and making a game that can go on a real cart has been a big one. Is it possible?

Also how do people make homebrews like Earthbound Zero and Brutal Super Mario World?

I wanna start from scratch but dont know what kind of rom i would have to make. Along with how to even get said rom onto a pcb.

This has been a curiosity of mine. Dont expect any kickstarters or games soon but....I think it would be a great experience to make one. Even if its just one for me.
