Was this piece of music, heard during the rocket launch scene if you scored high enough (used only on two Game Boy Tetris titles: the original 1989 release, and Tetris DX for Game Boy Color), an original piece composed by "Hip" Tanaka?
On the NES version, the "Toreador Song" from Bizet's "Carmen" opera was used for the same scene on the NES version (the Nintendo-published one, of course) of the game.
