Anyone else excited about TimeSplitters Rewind? I'm glad something eventually came out of the Facebook petition.

Who else is a fan of the series? It was arcade-style FPS at its finest, and quite full of personality. It had plenty of multiplayer game modes, allowed for up to 10 bots, and even had a mapmaker, quite a rarity for any console FPS modern or new. In addition, even though I've grown to prefer a mouse and keyboard for FPSes, the analog controls for TimeSplitters 2 have aged really well in my opinion. All of these make it still a great party game.

I didnt like the first one, but I remember playing a lot future perfect and it felt as good as n64 goldeneye in local multiplayer. Not sure how it will fare in the modern online military shooter world we live in...

I loved the TimeSplitters series. I thought the first game was good, but I felt TS2 is where the series really started to shine. Then FP came out and I was 100% hooked. I actually got FP for the XBOX because of the XBL support. My favorite aspect of the game was the map maker. I was always making new maps, sharing them online, and getting feedback from other gamers on how to improve my maps. Having to compete against the likes of Halo 2 on XBL, the community was small but great. I'd love another proper entry into the series, but I am looking forward to Rewind.
