I tend to not buy DLC either. Depends on the game and the price.

Are you confusing this forum with Gamefaqs perhaps? I think many of us would prefer that you took your trolling elsewhere.

Neither have I. What I don't like is when people use the term DLC for a full game that is digital download. The correct term for those are "digital download titles/games" not D(own)L(oad)C(ontent). If you wanted to abbreviate it I'd go with DLG or DLT, but not refer to a full game as content.

I've bought some DLC Fallout expansions I think. I didn't have a problem paying for more content. Because I'm not a baby.

I bought the costume set for Ultimate Marvel v Capcom 3, it was 20$ but I split it with my brother and so it cost me 10$. Totally worth it. I know alot of people had a problem with this, but I dont think its really worth complaining about. Especially considering it cost 35$ new when it came out.

I believe the first DLC I ever bought was the expansion for Costume Quest. Which is completely worth it, by the way.

This.
If the game would be like an expansion pack then sure why not, but for some items (armour, weapons or skins) NO.

Indie-Games (download only) OK!
Small Games (download only) OK!
Classic Games (fair price download copy) OK!
Expansion Pack (fair price download copy) OK!
Completion of a unfinished Game... NO!
Map Packs for a unfinished Game... NO! (Like Call Of Duty)
Pay to win / Pay for shortcuts... NO!
Costume, Weapon Skins... FUCK YOU! NO!
Last but not least...
70$ for a digital copy wich is 50-60$ retail.... Good joke!

I've never bought any post-DLC (expansions), but I did buy pre-DLC for Deadrising 2.
About a month before the game was released, you could pay $5 for the pre-content DLC. It was basically a demo, but it had about 5-10 hours of gameplay if you wanted to max out your stats (which carried over into the full release). I thought it was great, and it got me even more hyped up for the full game on release day.

I haven't bought any DLC, and that includes DLC expansions. I'd rather wait for a possible complete version and never play DLC if the complete edition didn't show. Most DLC, including expansions is usually never worth it. Rockstar DLC is worth it, but I didn't play those without a complete edition either.

I only pay for things I can hold until they pry them from my cold dead fingers.

I bought Proto Man and the extra level for Mega Man 9, that's all I can think of. I guess I didn't mind since it was DLC for a digital-only game, so it was like buying more of the same, vs. unlocking on-disc content, or something.

I've purchased plenty of 'DLC'. Numerous levels, map packs for MP games, characters. If it's for a game I'm enjoying and it's adding additional content then why not? Going to throw off a game like Skyrim or Fallout 3 because of the extra 3 or 4 DLC packs add another 10-30 hours of gameplay? That's just stupid if you enjoy the games and don't want to wait for the now common 'Game of the Year' edition, that bundles that content up nicely for the player 6-12 months down the line.

Where does Pinball FX and Pinball arcade fall in this category. You download the title (DLT), then you pay for tables. Would those tables be considered DLC?

Yes. Both PSN and XBLA list the tables as DLC.

Pinball FX2 was a free download. I honestly didn't download the title to play the crappy tables that were included.

Yes and that's the base program that comes with a few sampler tables. All the other tables however are DLC.

That's my point. Pinball FX2 wasn't necessarily a downloadable title, since it required you to access DLC to actually play a full game.

I've only ever purchased retail expansions. I have, however, bought indie games/bundled games where the DLC was already all included. I wouldn't ever pay for a map pack or costume change... That's unfathomable.

A good example of DLC I will buy. Two of the Sleeping Dogs DLC packs that actually have new levels/content are on sale this week for the PSN Halloween thing. $6 for a few more hours of a great game? Good deal.
On the other hand, I'd really like the DLC packs for Kingdoms of Amalur, but $10 a pop for pretty much an extra hour of content combined? No thanks, I'll wait until it's on sale.

I wouldn't call that even in the same class a s a full download title. It's more of a demo for a pure pay to play game like those ones you get on your phone.
A real download title would be something like Sonic 4 Episode 1, Sonic 4 episode 2, Deathspank, Pac-Man Championship Edition, Vandal-Hearts: Flames of Judgment and stuff. Where demos are available free but a full game is purchased and it includes plenty of content on its own. These kinds of download titles rarely ever have DLC made for them either. There's no DLC I know of for any of the titles I mentioned.
Pinball FX2 is a game where you custom piece it together by paying for parts. It's a totally different animal to the kinds of games I'm talking about.

I'm just saying that Pinball FX2 is sort of an exception to the rule, since the whole thing is really DLC.
